Ray was a kind, generous man who loved his family. His passion was music, to be precise, Northern Soul Music. This site has been created in his memory. He always said to me that he would die before he reached fifty, but would enjoy life to the full in getting there. Well he failed on the first point, he was 51 when he died. But he certainly made the most of his life. One of the songs he chose for his funeral was "I love the life I live and I live the life I love" by Toni Michaels, sound advice and in some ways one of his legacies is the name of my business.
Raymond passed away in the Rotherham General Hospital. He had been ill for a while, but got worse over Christmas. I remember going to see him on new years eve, he told me to go because he had a party to go to with the nurses.
