The Brownings
|
For Mick to be struck by throat cancer was a tremendous injustice.
He fought back in his own tenacious way with determination and courage, using the Gerson Therapy, to ensure that he spent as much time with Caleb as possible.
He never expressed self-pity nor bitterness - his only concerns were for others; his loved ones.
He organised his own funeral service, choosing those he wished to talk for him, poems and songs.
Mick remained dignified and unselfish to the very end. His last words were of his love for his son, Caleb.
